General info on snowmobile trips
Snowmobile drivers are required to have a valid driving licence for car, motor bike or snowmobile. The driving licence must be brought on the trip.
For reasons of safety, both your own and that of others, you must inform us on beforehand if you have allergies, blood circulation problems, a heart or vascular, back problems or any other illnesses that it may be of importance that we know about, including if you have undergone surgery. We also need to know if you are dependent on any medication and, if this is the case, where these are kept.
The guide can change the route at any time in order to maintain safety of the participants. Extreme temperatures and sudden weather changes may result in a change of program for safety reasons. We maintain the right to change the program and prices as a consequence of factors over which we have no control. If, as a result of unexpected events and/or changes in the weather conditions, makes it necessary to change the route described in the program, this will not effect the price of the trip. Arctic Adventures also maintain the right to cancel the trip if the minimum number of participants has not been obtained.
The participants are
themselves responsible for evaluation whether or not they are in the physical and mental shape necessary to participate in the activities booked. However, the guide may, any time, refuse participation or take whatever precautions are necessary if a participant is considered a security risk either to him-/herself, or to other participants. Artic Adventures may not be held responsible for accidents and injuries that are beyond the control of the company or caused by negligence of the guide’s directions/instructions. The participants are obligated to follow the guide’s directions and instructions. If the guide’s instructions are disregarded, the guide may, without further ado, take whatever precautions necessary in order to maintain the safety of the group.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or prescription drugs (that are not to be taken when driving), is not allowed under any circumstances. If participant(s) appear to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs, the guide may, at any time, deny participation or postpone departure time in order to maintain the safety of the group. No compensation will be given if participants are denied participation because they are under the influence of alcohol/drugs. A participant who is influenced by alcohol/drugs will be held responsible for any extra costs due to delays caused by his/her behaviour.
